When we aim for a long life, we have to consider that the whole lifetime consists of single individual days. Treat every single day with care and be aware of all these beautiful years they lay in front of you. But this is only a precious gift if you respect this day.

Breakfast in bed



... cosy and nice ... ", as beautiful as this melody sounds, it depends primarily on what is available for breakfast: a large plate of banana, orange, tomato, apple of course and a pear start the day energetically, you feel invigorated but not bottled, and for the slim line, it's also better than eggs and bacon.

Worth knowing about yoga


Strangely enough, yoga is always somehow transfigured. Yoga is simple and alone the all-encompassing system for body and mind.

Good to know >>>

  • There are many yoga styles in, there is something for everyone. Yoga ranges from a gentle category for the elderly or ill people to a power professional group.
  • Yoga is the ideal supplement for athletes. There is nothing better.
  • Forget about these circus acrobats. Yoga is more than just a balancing act, just because you were forced to play ballet as a child and do now the full split or bending over does not proof a good yoga performance.
  • And yoga is really not just for women. Men, join in!!!
  • And of course, I personally like Tantra-Yoga best.

Breath in - and out!

Life energy has many names from many cultures. Ki, spirit and prana, but what does it do?
Life energy is about bringing true healing from within.

When we see the doctors we are prescribed drugs that will relieve the symptoms of the disorder but it does not cure us. Because the reason for being ill is still present. Any true cure involves changes to one’s lifestyle and to how we perceive ourselves, in other words the physical and psychological being.

Each breath we take is life energy which in turn enters our body through meridians energizing major organs and tissues. Any imbalance to the flow of energy will lead to ill health. The Hebrew term “Ruah” comes from “Ruh” meaning to breath the power of manifestation, or energy.

Shakespeare wrote: " O spirit of love, the spirit which heals." When we are healthy we are full of energy, spirit and love.
I truly believe that if we treat ourselves holistically, that we will become whole again and live our lives as they were meant to be.

Happiness

Es gibt ja eine prominente Anzahl Leser aus dem englischsprachigen Bereich bei TerLiMa-news, Leser kommen aus den USA, UK, Hongkong oder auch aus Australien und deshalb möchte ich nun von Zeit zu Zeit hier auch einige orignial englische Texte einstellen. Mind you, most German understand it anyway ;-)

Hier ein weises Zitat, gefunden in einer kleinen Broschüre mit Gedichten:

Selbstbefriedigung

Massage IV
Eine gleichermaßen genial einfache wie mega wirksame Selbstbefriedigung bietet die Eigenmassage mit einem Frotteehandtuch. Und zwar spreche ich hier von einer sanften Massage des Gesichts, Hals, Ohren und Nacken und je nach Haarwuchs auch des oberen Kopfbereichs. Mit dem Handtuch läßt sich wunderbar der genannte Bereich sanft abrubbeln, die Stärke und Intensität merkt man schon selbst beim massieren. Leichtes reiben, pressen und drücken mit dem Handtuch regt die Durchblutung an und führt zu einem angenehmen Wärmegefühl. Genau wie bei einer klassischen Massage. Nur diese kleine Art kann man selbst unternehmen, schnell gemacht, kostet nichts und ist äußerst angenehm. Vorsicht rund um die Augen natürlich. Viel Spaß!

Motivation boost at its finest

 
 
Saturday, May 23, 2009, Don Wilson, called "The Dragon"  was a guest in Haltern am See in the Kickboxing Center of the Sports World. With him came his friend and martial arts expert Bernie Willems. 
 
I went with my Budo friend Marco Gevatter and three other Budokas from Bremen to take part in this unique highlight in the martial arts scene. For three hours, Don Wilson showed his first-class knowledge of martial arts and kickboxing. Don, not only 11-time world champion in kickboxing, but also an excellent teacher and seminar leader, knew how to instruct and inspire the participants of the workshop, who came from all over Germany, in a great way. 
 
Bernie Willems translated from English with absolute skill and precision. Don gave an overview of the techniques that had guided him through his own career. In addition, he lectured on his view of real self-defence, which even enriched old hands from the Budo scene and from the security industry with new insights. Personally, I give this seminar the smooth grade of "One". Thanks to Don Wilson and Bernie Willems!

Massage III

Mein Tipp für heute ist das Waschen ohne Wasser und ohne Seife.
Entkleide dich vollkommen und reibe deine Haut, deinen ganzen Körper systematisch mit den Händen, wenn du kannst sogar mit den Füßen, gründlich ab. Dieses Abreiben massiert dich nicht nur, es sensibilisiert dich auch für Körperregionen, welche dir manchmal verborgen bleiben oder oft vernachlässigt werden. Ein Meister von mir meinte sogar, er treibt nie herkömmlichen Sport, sondern er hält seinen Körper und speziell den Kreislauf ausschließlich mit dieser Art von Massage gesund. Nun, diese Meinung teile ich nicht, aber sei's erwähnt. Und es unterstreicht noch einmal in Übertreibung den großen Wert dieser Methode. Wie immer, kostenlos und sofort zu realisieren.
