The aim is to become 115 years old. In good and healthy condition. 

Not possible? 

You have to believe me and you have to do action. Bring order in your daily life and plan ahead.

Age is just a number

Age is just a number says Master Horst D. Lindenau.
It is really true, you are as old as you feel. The whole concept of age by numbers is mainly wrong as it leads to the wrong perspective and attitude towards the own being.

There is no anti-aging

 The phrase anti-aging is giving the false hope. In nature, every living creature is aging from day one on earth. Anti-aging however aproached, cannot stop that process. 

All what we can do, is live adequat and kind of happy and healthy and enjoy the journey of aging in the most best possible way.

Wear the seat belt

 

Even something as simple as always wearing a seat belt can reduce your chances of dying early. Most of the things that make up a longevity lifestyle are simple — exercise, eat and drink healthy, sleep adequately, stay engaged.

If only people would do them.

Good health

 Good health is not everything and all. But without good health everything is nothing.

And if you gain for longevity, you want to stay fit and healthy at any point. It does not make any sense to extend life, lets say as example, being in care home with dementia and tight to a bed. 

Anti-aging is about healthy life.

Ok, this picture is a joke. as human beings we have to move our a... Otherwise we rotaway and live uncomfortable, as we feel the pinch. Please do your daily portion of exercise. Might be sports, physical work, gardening or even sex does you good. But dont be the turtle and sit on the setty!

Count the days - not years

 Imagine it's my birthday.

Today I am 70 (seventy) years old according to the birth certificate.

70 years that sounds like there won't be a party in the care home. To be fair, many people of that age are rapidly on there way down. Physical, mental and social. The body has lost muscle mass, many suffer from memory loss and the intellectual abilities decrease. If one is lucky, there are grandchildren around and the family is still intact. All doom and gloom as it seems.

But this is not necessarily the way it has to go! 

I keep myself fit and on top of the game with teaching and training the martial art of traditional Japanese Jiu-Jitsu.

And the results are astonishing. Off bed on the birthday, first thing 70! push ups, proper ones. (before getting up, some morning Sex with my beloved partner who is 75. Yes you read right!)

Than after getting ready, nice breakfast, not this vegan stuff, no, I prefer today a full English. Reading the good papers, to check out the world and than work on the manuscript of my next book to be published.

You should not believe what the society tell you about someone who is 70. This is really just a number and life in the full swing. Happy birthday!

Ways to drink more water every day

You can start drinking water only. But this would be a bit drastic and not realistic. We all like our coffee, wine and fruit juices. So, one way to increase and control your water intake could be by placing glasses of water next to you. Kitchen, dining table, work desk etc. No?

You right, that’s unpractical. You can start writing it down and make a tick list. I give this a no too.

What I established and it works fine with me.

I use little glass pearls. Start with 11 in one small bowl and place them over the day in two others. I place one in the water bowl when drinking a glass of water and one in the bowl for any other drink I have. Works perfect! At the end of the day I add the result in a list and this way I can see exactly what my water consumption counts back the month and years.

Water is the most important intake after air. If you drink too little of it, the body is just not working well enough for what it is designed.

It is known that men are almost twice as likely as women to still have sex or masturbate at old age. A study found that 60% of men ages 70 to 80 and 30% of men ages 80 to 90 are still sexually active. In women those figures drop to 34% and 14%, respectively.

This lower rate of sexual activity in older women may be due to a lack of opportunity rather than a lack of desire. Research shows that older women are less likely to have partners, due in large part to the fact that they often outlive their partners.
